VOLUNTEER

VDMC AMBASSADOR

Volunteer who works within most of the aspects of the daily operations and initiatives of the VDMC. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Answering phone calls
Setting up appointments for dispensing
Answering questions regarding donor milk per VDMC policy and procedure.
Taking payment for PDHM

Dispense Milk/Collect Donor Milk on committed days
Ensure correct client paperwork is filled out and prescription received
Referral to services within their area for IBCLC services and other perinatal services
Freezer Temp checks
Administrative tasks
Cleaning and upkeep of the VDMC
Outreach and Education to the community
Helping with VDMC initiatives
Available one to two days per week to meet clients for pick up/drop off

Time: 10 hours per week/weekend minimum
Supervisor: Volunteer Lead/Executive Directors
Location: Home/VDMC

VDMC VOLUNTEER

Volunteer who is on call and available to meet clients at the VDMC to dispense milk or collect milk from Donors.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

HIPPA training
Dispense Milk/Collect Donor Milk on committed days
Ensure correct client paperwork is filled out and prescription received
Freezer Temp check
Available one to two days per week to meet clients for pick up/drop off
Cleaning and upkeep of the VDMC

Time: 1/2-1 hour training and 1-2 days a week/weekends (on-call)
